Based on their evaluation, the MVC 840 and 400 are awarded the Miercom Certified Secure certification for delivering competitively superior security and performance against real-world exploits and stressful conditions. Recognizing this critical need, Yealink partnered with Miercom, a renowned product security testing center, to conduct a security vulnerability assessment on two different Microsoft Teams Rooms system deployments, MVC840 and MVC 400.

With rich experience in evaluating cutting-edge technology, Miercom performed the Certified Secure Penetration Test series on the MVC Rooms Systems, one of the most challenging and comprehensive security certifications, focusing on hardware components security, network component security, and data integrity and confidentiality, testing products as a standalone point solution as well as in a fully integrated environment. In addition, vulnerability tests were conducted on each solution in a simulated enterprise network environment to ensure secure functionality after deployment and the confidentiality and integrity of data in transit. Miercom also adopted an extremely aggressive security Pen Test methodology and a comprehensive battery of vulnerability scanning and defensive security tools in the analysis, giving all users the confidence that the Yealink solutions they rely on for communications are inherently secure. Yealink MVC 840 and 400 passed all security benchmark tests. Analysis of data in transit was proven encrypted. Tamper-resistant design verified on MCore and peripherals, including security locks to prevent theft and tampering. No vulnerable APIs, Windows services, or ports were found on the Yealink networked components in the test.
