Yealink Announces Successful Integration with Providence Park Medical Building Group

Xiamen, China – April 14th, 2017 – Yealink, the global leading unified communication (UC) terminal solution provider, today announces a triumph in medical market that its SIP-T48G, SIP-46G and DECT W56P phones were successfully integrated with the Providence Park Medical Building Group, a multi-tenant independent specialty co-op offering shared enterprise IT infrastructure for individualized technology solutions. The integration was made possible thanks to WaTech Computer Services, Inc., a Michigan-based network solutions provider and Yealink reseller.

The integration began midway through 2016, when Providence Park Medical Building Group decided to upgrade its legacy Cisco system. The company sought a replacement that was cost-effective, and also capable of supporting its tenants’ remote locations.

Providence Park Medical Building Group had several requirements for its new phone system, including lower equipment costs; an improved feature set; better call quality; rapid scalability and/or relocation of service; centralized management; gigabit functionality and embedded DSS keys.

At the same time, the company wanted to reuse its existing PoE switching infrastructure while avoiding VoIP and SIP vendor lock-in. Therefore, the provider had to be a single, leading VoIP manufacturer offering a wide range of options and able to install them with minimal service interruptions. The goal was to either meet or exceed 99.9999 percent uptime.

After demoing products from several different providers, Providence Park Medical Building Group decided to move forward exclusively with Yealink’s phones for their elegant, enterprise look, flexibility and fair prices. The company also decided to leverage WaTech’s managed cloud hosted platform for further cost savings and scalability.

“To the end user, the phone system IS their phone,” stated James Peludat, principal solutions architect at WaTech. “That’s their interface to all of the phone system features and is what they base their user experience on.  Not many people understand the complex behind the scenes programming of a phone system implementation.  But when you place a beautiful color touchscreen phone (T48G) on their desk that is easy to use and sounds great, people instantly have confidence in the entire project.”

Yealink Sales Director Rowena Fan also commented on the project.

“The project was a remarkable success in medical market,” Fan stated. “More than 15 remote locations have now been added, providing Providence Park Medical Building Group’s tenants with the flexibility and responsiveness they need to thrive in today’s fast-paced business landscape.”
