Yealink’s IP Video Phone Wins 2012 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year

IP Phone maker Yealink provides high-quality IP phones and IP communications solutions, and it has the industry recognition to prove it. Recently, Frost & Sullivan recognized Yealink for its growth leadership, showing a CAGR of 83 percent during 2009-2011 in its IP phone shipment.

Among the top five SIP phone brands in the industry and the most popular Chinese brand in the Western world, Yealink offers three product lines: IP video phones, IP phones and USB phones. These devices not only match the top international requirements in terms of quality and features, but are also very competitively priced.

Yealink has also been recently awarded the INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year award for its IP video phone, the VP530.

Unified with audio, video, applications, the VP530 is a powerful business video phone. Its large display and ease of use make the VP530 an ideal all-in-one tool for today’s busy executives and managers, regardless where they are. With its excellent user experience and rich business features, the VP530 creates an immersive, face-to-face experience over the network, empowering users to collaborate with each other like never before.

“Judging this year was more difficult than ever, with the breadth of products being reflective of the continuous evolution of the IP communications market.  These winners have been chosen based on their innovation and ability to solve real business communications challenges,” said, Erik Linask, group editorial director, TMC, in a statement.

The user-friendly features offered by the VP530 have also earned praise from one Fortune 500 manager, who commented, “Video plays an important role in our company, especially for communicating with branches abroad. Other phones cannot meet our needs as those branches use different platforms. Through its broad compatibility and ability to exploit various value-added applications, the VP530 improves working efficiency. Another benefit is that people can themselves set the most suitable and convenient GUI.”

The phone also offers a host of business-friendly features including three-way local audio conferencing, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) phonebook, BLF, Intercom, 2M pixel CMOS sensor camera and an 18 Direct Station Selection (DSS) key screen with status lights.

“The editors of INTERNET TELEPHONY have verified the selected products demonstrate quality and innovation plus provide real needs in the marketplace. These winners have exemplified excellence in IP communication technologies and I extend my congratulations to all,” stated Rich Tehrani, CEO, TMC.

Earlier this year, the VP530 successfully passed the interoperability test with BroadSoft, an innovator of VoIP applications, proving that Yealink IP phones work properly with the BroadWorks SIP interface. The BroadWorks platform delivers a broad range of unified communications services including video, voice, hosted call center, conferencing, messaging and mobility for businesses and consumers worldwide.
